The La Gondola Canning Factory was founded by Italians who brought the first canneries to Matosinhos, northern Portugal, in 1940. The company's guidelines remain in high quality products. They claims to use the fish and seafood when it’s at its best, processing it with traditional methods, pre-cooking the fish and only after cutting and canning it.
