More than half a century ago, Mileto was in a strategic position, between Reggio Calabria and Salerno. Market and trade increased in this area expecially concerning butchery. It was in this context that grandfather Vittorio opened his first small shop, who ran helped by his wife. The abilities of the couple, the kindness of the butcher and the quality of the meat buyed allows Calla to be respected and nationally known.
