Valentine’s Pizza


Ingredients


7g sachet easy-blend yeast
2 tsp salt
25ml/1fl oz olive oil
365ml warm water
Jar of Tomato sauce
1 x Soppressatasalsiccia
Mini mozzarella balls
Basil


Method


1. Make your pizza base. Combine the 00 flour, yeast, salt & oil and add the warm water combining with your hand until a wet but manageable dough.
Knead for at least 10 minutes then leave to double in size in an oiled bowl covered in a tea towel in a warmish environment.
2. Knock back the dough and shape by hand into generous heart shapes, (our batch of dough made 2 large hearts and 2 small). Spread with the Norma sauce. Tear and add the mozzarella balls. Cut the Soppresata salami so that the cross section is a heart shape (i.e. a triangle out of the top and the opposite side into a point) and then slice. Artistically place the heart shaped pieces of soppresata.
3.Cook on a preheated pizza stone, with your domestic oven as hot as it will go, until lightly browned and risen.
