We’re so pleased to announce that our soppressata has been awarded a star at the Great Taste Awards!

In case you haven’t tried it yet, soppressata is a type of Italian dry salami. Ours was described by the judges as having

"a good balance of flavours with a peppery aftertaste.”

We were also pleased that they identified it as an “authentic Italian product” that’s “quite different from most of the salamis being made in England.”

It’s a great representation of the top-quality, gourmet foods that we source.

Congratulations to the producers, Burgentino, who are based in the south of Italy and pride themselves on their traditional techniques.
